Go to Cydia and get OpenSSH and download WinSCP on your computer.

Youtube for more detail. TysiPhoneHelp has a good tutorial.

    To SSH to your iPod/iPhone:

    1. Use Cydia to install OpenSSH on your iPod/iPhone. (use Cydia to search for it)

    2. Download WinSCP 4 on your computer, and install.

    3. Reboot the PC.

    4. Run WinSPC

    The WinSPC Login window appears.
    • Host name is your iPod/iPhone's IP address. To find this, go to Settings, Wi-Fi, tap the blue arrow on your Network, the IP address is shown.
    • Enter "root" for the user name, and "alpine" for the password, port 22.
    • Click Save.
    • Click OK to save the password, if prompted.
    • Give the saved setting a name and click OK.
    • Click "Login".
A new window opens, and you're logged into your iPod/iPhone.

To get to the /root directory: On the right side panel of the WinSCP window, you'll see a folder icon with a "/" on it. (4th icon from the right on the toolbar) Click it to go to the root of the iPod/iPhone.

You have now SSH'd to your iPod/iPhone :]
