    I am having problems setting up ssh keys for my touch and would appreciate any hints or tips. I am trying to get to the point where I can ssh from within an automator shell script on the mac so normal password prompt trips it up.

    This is what I have done to set up the keys, but it is not working. Please note that the exact same code when executed from the touch mobile terminal accessing my macs ip works, which has left me a little bamboozled.

    Code:
    $ ssh-keygen -t dsa -f ~/.ssh/id_dsa -C "Key"

    $ cat ~/.ssh/id_dsa.pub >> ~/.ssh/authorized_keys

    $ cat ~/.ssh/id_dsa.pub | ssh root@touchipaddress ‘cat - >> ~/.ssh/authorized_keys’

    I do all the above, go to terminal, ssh into the touch and it still prompts for password

    Failing the above, is there any way to put the password as a string into a shell script in automator, accepting the security implications?

    Many thanks, Tones
