DO NOT GIVE AT&T A REASON TO INVESTIAGTE YOUR ACTIVITY. Now that we've gotten that out of the way, we can get to the fun part. This works on Mac and PC, but if someone could posts some Windows screenshots, that would be great. 1. From your iPhone, open Safari and visit the nice little iPhone-optimized website - http://help.benm.at/usa.php 2. Select AT&T (you could choose T-Mobile if you use their service, but this guide is geared toward AT&T users) Please Register or Log in to view images 3. That will download a file, and subsequently open up Settings. Please Register or Log in to view images 4. Press Install, and a confirmation box will appear, warning you that this configuration is unsigned. Yes, we know, that's the point Please Register or Log in to view images Tap Replace. Please Register or Log in to view images 5. You will be taken back to Safari, which you can quit. Open up Settings, and in General > Network, You should see an option for Internet Tethering. Select it, and now you see an ON/OFF switch, with some nice instructions. Please Register or Log in to view images Please Register or Log in to view images 6. Turn on Internet Tethering, and a box will appear, asking you if you'd like to use Bluetooth or USB. Select either, and follow the instructions that you see in Settings. Choose iPhone from the list of network services (probably will show up as Ethernet Adaptor, or something like that) Bluetooth - 1. Pair iPhone with your computer, Bluetooth must be enabled in both your computer and iPhone. 2. On iPhone, tap Accept, or enter the code displayed on your computer. 3. Connect iPhone to computer __ CONGRATULATIONS, You have set up tethering!
