set any picture from Internet as wallpaper

    I'm pretty sure there's currently no way to do this but I think a real popular application would be one where you could set any picture from the internet as your wallpaper. I would love to have James gist from the maryland terrapins dunking or I'd probably have a picture of a blackhawk on there

    just use your computer and go onto the internet, find the pic. Go into photoshop or paint and cut it down to size which i think is 480x320. Then send it to your ipod. An app for this would be a bit useless in my opinion.

    or it would be great if someone made a plugin for safari to save pics directly from safari in the ipoT =)

    Possible?

    There is a Safari download plugin, but sadly, I don't think that it has the capability to download pictures. Anyone can confirm this?

    you can either add it to your iphoto library (if you have a mac) and tell itunes to sync your iphoto library or ssh into your ipod and add it to the walpapers folder.

    Yea it would be nice to have that app. However in the meantime you can just search for iphone wallpapers and sync them to your pod.

    you could take a screen shot of the picture using the dock or screen shot app.

    but where do screenshots save to? how do you find the photo roll in mobile finder?

    i dont know of any way to easily save pictures and set as background, but i do know how to save and view them. i posted a tutorial in a different thred once.
