my untethered jailbroken ipod touch 2g wont turn on.
its been like this for about two days now.
    ive tried everything.
nobody ever really responds to it when i post.

when i plug it into my computer this comes up

"one of the usb devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it."

    can anybody please help me?

    Install LibUSB.

and Download a booter. I do not know any. As i am Un-thethered.

    yes.
    i dk.
you might be right that its tethered.
i had my friend jailbreak it.
    but yes.
ive tried putting it into dfu mode and nothing happens
that little bubble just pops back up.

i saw that some mom was having trouble with her sons ipod and it was something about her dfu drivers being messed up or something.
but i dont know how to tell.

i cant even put it into dfu mode.

If it really IS untethered, try this, it worked for me. Charge it for ~1 hour. Then, hold bold the home and power button for ~10 seconds, then let go of BOTH. If successful, your iPod should turn on
