Serious mistake. Is it fixable!?!?!

    I accidentally set all my applications in the folder to 0755 do i have to restore? please help io had over 95 apps i DO NOT want to restore

    depends test out ur apps first to see if their IS a problem

    cydia crashes, and installer says root:wheel blah blah blah. its screwed up.

    edit: yeah i know im a tard i was using commands to set an applications permissions but when i copied the address i copied the wrong folders adress so boom i screwed my ipod

    Wow that's strange, maybe find what permissions they were originally and set them to that.

    I'm on 1.1.4 by choice. Until Neverball and Neverputt come out for 2.0.X that's how I'll be staying.

    And seriously, I'm pretty sure your applications are supposed to have permissions set at 755. Unless it's different on 2.0.1

    Ok sorry about that I'm just really upset about this whole situation. But borh installer and cydia have messed up, but everything else seems to work.

    Is it possible you've somehow corrupted them by accident?
    Why not get someone who has 2.0.1 to send you a copy of their Cydia and Installer .app files which you can copy onto your iPod? I'd help, but still on 1.1.4 so our versions would be incompatible.
