Serious Discussion: Possible Jailbreak research on new iPod Nano?

    Now that the new Nano MAY have it's own iOS, any possibilities of a dev team to research it on release to see if it can be jailbroken?

    yeah I can't imagine what you would need a jailbreak for, there will probably be themes already

    I know it sounds pointless, but you never know, the nano COULD have some weird little potential in something.

    What functionality could you add? Cydia would have to be rewritten and/or a new app would have to be written for the small screen. Even so, it doesn't have wifi so debs would have to be installed through ssh. I still don't see a point in all this though.

    I don't see that as a practical device. It's cute. That's it. When you're accidently clicking two things at once the multitouch is going to seem like a bad idea.
