So I am considering buying a pair of PX100's, heard many good things about them. I want them mainly just to try the over the ear headphones thing, and I'm wondering if the sound quality of the PX100's are better, close to the same, or worse, and if worse by how much than my CX500's. I want to have a pair of over the ears for when I just don't feel like putting the IEM's in, and I'm hoping the PX100's can be comparable to my CX500s. Input, suggestions, or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ive had the PX100 for quite some time now and they are really good sound quality and are quite nifty for traveling. An open-backed and highly efficient design, lightweight headphones deliver amazingly crisp, punchy sound with a strong bass response even when used straight out of a portable audio source. They Are also very durable !

Techincal Spec For The PX100 :
    Frequency response: 15-27,000 Hz
    Sound pressure level: 114dB SPL
    Impedance: 32 ohms
    Distortion: <0.1%
    Load rating: 50mW
    Transducer principle: dynamic, open
    Magnets: Neodymium
    Ear coupling: supra-aural
    Cable: OFC copper cable, 1.4m
    Connector: 3.5mm stereo plug
    Weight without cable: 60g

    Hope This might help?
