Wat crappy apple earphones, thinking of buying new ones. Have a poll and need some advice on which is better, having good bass and sound isolation and comfortable. Thanx

I have the CX-300 & they are great. If you want bass, great noise cancellation, and comfort this are it. I'm going to buy the V-Moda from Costco, they have 'em for $75.

I have the CX300's and will be replacing them soon. Dont get me wrong - they are far better than the bundled headphones but for me I find them to be a little harsh on the high end for my tastes and I tend to get headaches even at a medium volume.

I am sure really it comes down to taste though. Trouble is with earbuds, stores are not too happy about letting people try before they buy.

I really like the apple's earphones, the sound isn't very impressive but it's very accurate. Excelent midrang and good high range and decent basses.

Earphones that deliver impressive basses are not necesary the best. It's more important the mid and high ranges, and the apple's are the best that i have tried in these aspects. But, of course, it depends to the style that you hear. For metal-rock based styles, apple's are perfect.

Have used the Sennheiser PX100 for close to a year now - awesome sound for the price. Very comfortable to wear for extended periods.

Only negative is you have to belong to Mensa to figure out how to fold them into their carrying case - just kidding

I love Phillips, i got SHE9500 and SHL9500. I use them two, one for inside, one for outside. Good choice.
