    Hi all,
I recently purchased a new pair of "CX 300-II precision" headphones.
The sound is great except for the bass tones. I can barely hear any bass.
Maybe some burning in will help.

Anyone else got this set and experienced the same?

I'm no expert but I love the sound of mine (I have the same ones). Sorry... If you want more bass, try turning on EQ to "Bass booster" in music settings. Hope this helps.

I tried the "more lower tones" in the EQ music settings, but that makes a vibrating sound on the basses which isn't good.

Ok. It may sound stupid, but why don't you check the fit of the earphones as the sound quality will not be anywhere near as good if they're not fitted properly. Try with different sized adaptors.

Tried with different sizes, no difference.
Even the original Apple ones are better (soundwise).

I finally got them sound the way it should.
I putted on the smaller rubbers, and instead of wearing them with the leads pointing down, i turned them up and let the leads go behind my ears.
This way they can go a bit deeper in my ears and are sealing better.
Now the sound is really good
