Send text messages with Mail.app

    I don't know how many of you know, but this is possible.

    Each cell number has an e-mail address.
    For AT&T(formerly Cingular) - number@txt.att.net
    T-Mobile USA - number@tmomail.net

    This is the link to almost all providers.

    I was wondering if you could somehow get the receiving and sending servers like mail.att.net and smtp.att.net so you would be able to receive text messages on your iPod Touch through the Mail Applications.

    what would sprints be? ive tried *****@messaging.sprint.com but that didnt work out.
