Well did you know that you can send SMS on your touch?!
    Yeah, thats right "TEXTS"!
Even though they cannot send back to your Ipod, they can send it back to your phone, if you have one.

I will show you how to do this if you dont already know!

you all know that you can add phone numbers to AIM, this will let you send texts.

first go to add a new buddy and type (+1tendigitnumber) then save. It should say "mobile" under the number when you add it as a buddy.

all you gotta do now is type in your message and send, a message will pop up and say that they cannot reply but they can send back to your sell phone, if you get charged for recieving texts, well then, that blows, but if you dont.... FREE TEXTS.

    thanks, hope you liked this!
Dont get mad if you have already known this, this is strictly for the people who didnt know.

AIM crashes after you start a new IM and do it.

Just go to http://txtdrop.com/iphone because you can send texts and receive texts directly to your email and reply to them FROM your email.

Yes. I've used it over 50 times now.
It sends right to their phone, and back to your email. It depends on if they (the phone user) gets charged or not for receiving and sending text messages.

Thats the thing I dont want to do it if it charges for them to recieve, i would easily just tell them to reply back to my mobile so it is less charge.

But since I am in australia would it cost heaps?

In the normal AIM, they can reply and you can have a conversation back and forth, it should work on this version fo AIM for iPhone/iPod touch.

I don't know. It would depend on Australian phone bills.
