    Hi all,
After successfully installing and testing the semi-tethered jailbreak on my ipt2g, everything works. However, after I install a simple application from Cydia, such as NES Emulator or genesis4iphone, my ipt2g can boot into the jailbroken mode but cannot boot into normal mode. When my ipt2g attempts to boot in normal mode, it becomes stuck in a boot loop (ex: black screen, apple logo, black screen, apple logo, etc.). Does anyone know a fix for this? (I do NOT have Winterboard installed.)

Guys, I will warn you. You can seriously F*ck up your ipod with the semi-tethered. There are so many bugs, mostly just small problems, but you can never be sure. I'd go back to tethered. Easier, Better-er, Funner-er-er-est.

    That's incorrect.

You cannot seriously f*ck up your ipod with anything you install.

Unless you consider having to do a DFU restore a difficult thing to do. In which case you probably should stay away from all forms of the jailbreak.

I have the same problem (boot loop) after I've installed the winterboard patch.
    Ho can I resolve it?

    Yeah, Restoring isn't that hard...

And try to re jailbreak and use the WinterBoard Patch that MuscleNerd posted somewhere...
