I accidentally clicked on UPDATE ALL in the App Store. But one of the apps is like over 300Mb. So I switched the iPad off. Thinking it will stop everything. Now I sit with progress bars underneath all the apps that wanted to update. I have tried unsuccessfully to resume the downloads, or to remove the apps. Now what? 1. Syncing with iTunes, which already have the updated apps downloaded, did not work 2. Trying the resume downloads by clicking on the apps, only results in the app saying it cant download, Done or Retry. Regardless of what you click - it just stays there.
1. In iTunes, right-click on your iPad in the left pane and click "Back Up" 2. Use iFunBox to delete the semi-updated apps from the "User Applications" 3. Reboot your iPad 4. Sync the apps back from iTunes to your iPad 5. Right-click on your iPad and click "Restore from Backup...". Note that this will not completely restore it, only the settings/app data Note: Only do step 1 and 5 if you care about the app data. This means game progress, settings/preferences, etc.
I must be doing something wrong. I downloaded the app - cool app btw uninstalled the affected apps rebooted and they were still there on the screen (iPad) - although not in the apps list in iFunBox so i cleared all content and settings (made my heart stop) and opted to restore from the backup in step 1 still busy - but seems like it might work this way too
