Well I don't use it as much as I thought I would so I am selling it. I found a buyer for it for $150 so I just want to make sure it is good for her when she comes to pick it up.

Maybe I should restore it? Then install a few apps for her to try out?

Make sure you delete your itunes account from the ipod, after downloading the apps

I'd say just restore to factory settings. So none of your data is on there. And maybe you could show her how to make her own account and download apps.

Restore to factory settings yah, then create as a new iPod. If you know her name, name the iPod (name) iPod. Get the clock settings worked out and the weather so it is personalized already.

    • Restore to a clean 3.1.2 firmware.
    • Set up as a new iPod, don't restore from a backup.

Well I sold it, she paid $150 for it. Less than what I wanted but eh I took it she was nice. I restored the device to factory settings updated to 3.1.3 firmware for her.

Threw in about 4 cases, 2 wall chargers, 1 car charger, and the receipt to Target where I bought it if she wanted to get a brand new one without scratches since it's good until March of 2010.
