Ok, I am going to sell my iPod touch to make money for the new iPhone. I have a few questions:

    1) Should I leave it jailbroken?

    2) Should I restore it?

    3) What should I start the bidding at?

    4) Anyone have selling tips?

How much do you think the 3G iPhone is going to cost? The same. More.

Also I am getting the $20 a month data only plan.

    1. Yes, You should jailbreak it, but make sure you restore it first and then jailbreak it so you don't have all of your old things on there.

    2. Yes, like in #1. Restore it, then jailbreak it.

    3. Start the bidding around 300, then let it rise as people get greedy.

    4. Make the sell look nice.
Put some color into your text, different font's, change things around.
Take the best pictures you can. Make sure the pictures look good, clean, try not to include any scratch's, defects, etc.
Give out some spec's about it, but don't be TOO nerdy about them just so people know what it means.

Good luck on selling your iPod touch.

    1. Yes, although I would recommend restoring and giving them a fresh, clean jailbreak.
    2. Yes, then jailbreak fresh like I said above.
    3. For a starting bid, I would recommend $250, and then let the bidders raise that.
    4. Be nice, answer questions and be honest.

EDIT: This post is almost identical to vintagecondom's, you beat me to it.

Yeah, I know how to make a good eBay auction and I use GarageSale. So that isn't a problem

@Chucky, AT&T has a new data only plan, actually it isn't really a plan. You have have to make sure you pay $20 at the end of each month so you don't get the ridiculously high mb prices they have. So it isn't thaaaaat awesome, but it works for me!
