so since theres an almost 100% chance theres gonna be a new ipod touch, i was wondering if i should sell my 32gb 2g.
i bought it at the apple store and i have a warranty.
do you guys think if i break it after the 3g touch comes out, they'll just replace it with a 3g of equal or less cost?
thats what they did at best buy anyways, with my 360 and ipod nano.
so should i sell it, and for how much? or should i keep it?
the price would probably go down if i try to sell it after the new one comes out.
    thanks

Apple won't give you a replacement for accidental damage, and if you do get your 2G replaced, they'll just give you a 2G refurb.

If you want to get the 3rd gen iPod, I would sell now, or sell soon; sometime before September.

That would be fraud, deliberately breaking it. You'd get a 2G gain.

I didn't see anything indicating intentional damage to the device, but yes, doing so would be fraud, and illegal.
