secured wi-fi?

    is there anywway to hack into a secure wi-fi network on this thing? i know you can on laptops with different programs... but anyway with the ipod touch?

    No. That requires 3rd party softeware which as you know still cant be installed.

    yes, what i was looking for was a way to hack through the secured password on a network so i can access secure networks without the password.... guess i'll have to wait lol

    um, probably not. Who the hell is going to "hack" from the touch? Not to mention i'd like to see you hack any wifi encryption other than WEP.

    do any of you doodle brains know anything about hacking wireless networks? I doubt that the WiFi card in the device supports any type of promiscous mode by which it monitors all wireless packets, and the decryption process uses lots of CPU power. this is best left to a linux laptop and a no name wireless card.
