Do you think it would be possible to port second life to the Ipod Touch? I could possibly be done, its already being developed for any Java powered cell phone by Comverse Tech, and the client has been released as an open source platform. The iPhone's WiFi and powerful processor would be prefect for second life. I guess the hard part would be be moving around, but I guess it could be implemented that you could touch were you want to go.

no,no,no would never work, too much processing, it would run at about 1 fps and would be sh*t.

I've heard of half life but not second life. Why do people like playing games on these little devises. I think its a pain and a big risk of dropping your ipod to its demise. After all the owners manuel suggests to avoid dropping it (big duh).

What? Playing games increases droppage of the console?

That doesn't make any sense to me. If you are holding the iPoT in 2 hands instead of it just hanging out of your pocket while you listen to music, I think you would have a lesser chance of dropping it.

No, I don't think it would lag, the ipod touch has a 400mhz Processor. If you think about it, It takes ALOT of power to emulate a system. And if it can emulate PSX graphics, it should be able to do second life if the graphics are scaled back enough, probably to about DS graphics. Wich wouldn't look that bad expersialy on the ipod 's 3.2 inch screen. So I think it would be possible.
