I think many of us are now fed up with certain IPTF members who justify their existence here through regularly upping their post counts by dropping into threads with a 'Yo dude search up!' or similar unhelpful post. I'm sure we are all dumbstruck on occasion when we see yet another thread started asking 'is there a jailbreak for 2nd gen iPod Touch?'. However, I would much rather read that and a post for a helpful link to the answer ALONG WITH a polite note to use the search function than the swathes of spam I am wasting my life viewing from the likes of many (who shall remain nameless for the moment). Rule of thumb. If you are annoyed by a post, walk away take a deep breath and think before you post. Then if you still feel like posting, be helpful and polite. If you can't do that then refrain from posting. An empty thread will suffice until a more mature IPTF member has time to leave a post that both answers the question and offers advice on better adhering to IPTF policies. Spamming and unhelpful comments only dissuade people from using the IPTF forum. THINK BEFORE YOU POST. BE HELPFUL. BE POLITE.
