Just had to say, love the avatar!

Good info in your post about SDK, it should help clear up some questions. I think some people mistakingly believed that when the SDK was released that apps would be available. Hopefully it will be released soon, and some of the amazing devs who created the apps we love on installer will see an official release of their hard work, blood, sweat, and tears! It seems clear to be from the size of 1.1.4 that there is something more in there than meets the eye. It's quite a large file...

I think somebody typed up a little bit of this on their iPod Touch...

And What will we do? The SDK is for programs that aren't native to the iPod to be brought to it.. isn't that what the Jailbreak is for? Are we going to remain Jailbroken, or couldn't we just use the SDK as a means to develop programs for it, and then use them that way sans the jailbreak... I don't know, that's just me speculating..

Regarding the file size - does this file not overwrite the last (1.1.3) file - meaning it contains the 5 $20 apps again etc?....

Regarding the OP's quote of $20 - i think in the case of SDK apps it will be a "pay per app" fee. No single app is going to cost $20. That is garunteed.

Regarding the dates for apps surfacing - I was under the impression that the SDK had been in the hands of selected developers for some time now, and that they had been working on apps during this whole "speculative" phase.
