SDK is not something you can check for on your iPod. The SDK will NEVER be on the iPod, or iPhone.

SDK is a Developer's Kit. The Developers will get. To find out if it has been released, check the Apple Development Center. http://developer.apple.com

the SDK will NOT be stored on the iTouch at any point, its a Software Development Kit, ran from a PC/MAC to create apps for the mobile platform. If there is anything it would have to be either an Install program, unless apps require self extraction, or a Testing app, to bug check your code... SDK is NOT an iTouch app...

Thanks for this. I hope this helps clear it up. A lot of people seem to think the SDK is an app.

I know. What's up with that? What would an SDK app be? People need to start to understand what an SDK is.

Because the iPod Touch Definitely has the resources to create applications.
