Well I signed up as a developer on apple.com (the free one) and i saw this list of "sample codes:"
    http://developer.apple.com/iphone/samples/index.action

since these codes are available for anyone, it is most likely all the applications that appear on this page will be available for free once the sdk is released. Here is a list of some of the best applications on this page:

    1) LunarLander - A tilt game where you have to land your space ship
    2) FingerSketch - A sketch application
    3) GLSprite - Draw and animate a sprite
    4) GLTeapot - A 3D object rotator
    5) GLGravity - Same as GLTeapot but use motionn sensor
    6) GLPaint - Paint with multiple colors
    7) WiTap - Tap on your iPhone and see it on any other iPhone over the internet

There are many more applications on this page, but these are just the ones that seem the coolest to me. Many of these even seem better than most of the jailbreak apps out there, and most likely for free. This is going to be very cool, and I would be happy with just these apps on my iPod.

Not unless I pay $99. If you download the free SDK from apple, you can test them out on your computer from the page I linked you to.

You should really tell them its the SOURCE CODE to the Apps. Most people don't have Mac OS X or Xcode to COMPILE AND RUN these apps.

I bet apple will be pretty angry to find out ppl are using the sdk apps already before they release them lol. Now we just need someone who can figure a way to run them or maybe the dev team could try?
