Ok .. so after trying stuff for hours ive come here for help.
I had my ipod touch 2g jailbroken with the first quickfreedom that came out after the un-tethered jailbreak came out, worked great for a month or 2, then i tried to put like 5gb worth of music on it at once... and i crashed.
    So here's the deal

    - Only thing it does is start with the boot logo and then it goes into recovery mode

    - when i try to recover with any touch 2g firmware in Recover or Dfu mode it gets stuck on (what seems) 100%

after waiting a few hours i pull it out and i dont get an error..

using redsnow 0.3 also doesnt work, same problem as recovering

Or you can just restore and do the jailbreaking process all over again.

It isn't bricked. Mine was like that and it is fine now. Use the thing when you get online please windrush. And if it doesn't work please notify me immediately pm.

I know, I was just playing off the fact that the iPod touch is virtually unbrickable, at least accidentally.

    Hi Jawcl,

I got the same problem as windrush. I use un-tethered jailbreak for 1+ month, works great. One day, it crashed on some apps, then I try to reboot the ipod, then always shows up the "Recovery Screen" like windrush. After then, I did few tries of recover from itune, always stuck on the 100% progress bar. The only way I can do is to un-plug (I got a error#9 from itunes)

I tried your iRecovery tools, from windows. After using itune to recover using my un-tethered fw, then it apears the white screen and after few miniutes, it appears error #1604, ipod still stuck on the white screen.

    Is there any other solution?
