screwed up ipod touch

    today i used the jailbreak quickfreedom and restored with itunes now my ipod is not being recognized by itunes and comes up as an uknown device under computer management.

    HOW DO I GET MY IPOD WORKING AGAIN

    PLEASE REPLY/HELP ME

    Try to reboot you ipod, and if that doesn't work, put your ipod into DFU mode and restore

    did not explain enough

    i was on fw 2.2.1
    the screen is totaly black
    itunes does not recognize.
    the computer does not recognize them

    when i plug it in it comes up the usb symbol saying uknown device.


    what do you think this could be and how i can fix it
    does not go into dfu mode or restore mode

    iPod touch will always go into DFU mode. Your just not doing it right. here is a link of how to do DFU mode correctly.

    Right, the DFU mode is on the ROM, so it will always be possible to go into DFU mode

    thank you i did not know that it always goes back to dfu mode
    i started to restore my ipod touch then i leave, when i come back it was not doing anything

    No problem, so did the ipod get through the restore?
