I updated my iPod to 1.1.3 knowing that I would loss my apps and everything but now I'm trying to go back down to 1.1.1 to jailbreak in 1.1.2. Someone told me to put the iPod into recovery mode then restore it in iTunes but iTunes wants me to only get 1.1.3. How can I bypass this?

Go to youtube and look up 1.1.3 downgrade and follow the steps in the video it worked for me.....you can try and get the 1.1.2 firmware and then hit restore in itunes while holding shift then just find the 1.1.2 and let it do its thing if it works it may giv eu an error if thats the case try the youtube thing

yeah, u cant just downgrade like previously possible... apple locked this feature out with the newst version of itunes. there are a few different methods of downgrading from 1.1.3, which can all be found in the "TEMPORARY FIRMWARE 1.1.3 DISCUSSIONS" section....
