Ok...So I'm wondering how am I able to take a screenshot of the opening screen? Where it displays the time/date and "Slide to Unlock". I was thinking that the Dock Application would let me but it doesn't show up either..

i have found that if you halfway plug in your ipod via usb - computer. you can use the manual screenshot method.

    manual method
place the screenshot file in the /bin file in you ipod.
    Then, set permissions to 755
Then right click the screenshot file in you ipod and go to custom commands
While your at custom commands, take your ipod out and plug it halfway in but enough to be recognized and click custom commands -> execute.
The screenshot will be the only image in /tmp

**The reason for halfway plugging it in is so that it doesn't snap a shot of the "charging batter" screen. But if thats what you want then keep it plugged all the way in**
