Right please read all before you post.

Ok so the app is a screensaver app that uses the demo.app to work. The demo.app allows a video to be played over and over again, so you could make the screensaver app boot up the demo.app after a certain amount of time that the iPod/iPhone is not being used.

So the screensaver app will automatically boot up demo.app when the iPod/iPhone has not been used for a while. Which will then play a video until you stop it.

I know this will reduce the battery life like a b*tch, but so do apps like vWallpaper etc and people seem to keep using them. So you could make the app reduce the backlight to save some battery.

I know this might seem pointless but so are many apps that people use, i think it would be cool to have a screensaver application.

I was thinking about this too... played around with the SDK and some demo apps. The OSX 'flurry' screensaver is nice.

No, you don't read. Demo.app automatically opens up if you have auto lock on. So if you have auto lock set to 1 minute, and you have a Demo.mov in your /private/var/media folder, Demo.app will open up after 1 minute.
