If any developers have spare time, i would lovfe to see an app that aloows music to run but overlays a screensaver on the screen, like Macs Flurry one.

I second! It doesn't have to be an application though. It should be implemented into General Settings. There, one could determine the time until the screen saver appears and the automatic shutdown of the Ipod Touch (as an optional setting).

I only mentioned it as an app as i thought it would be easier than implementing into the OS.

    Anyone up for it?

Maybe when the iPod goes to sleep after inactivity, there would be a screensaver there instead.

Well..I guess it would be a good optional application...But for some it'd be thought over as a battery drainer...As the screen would still be running, instead of the "off" or "black" screen when it's in sleep mode.

it would be really cool to have a screensaver jsut for applicable use when the Ipot is in a dock stand charging or w/e. would just look nice, and wit hall the customizable stuff for theipoT, this would just add to the creative possibilities.

Guys, remember that the heart of the ipod is the battery, y'all want to kill the ipod?
I know it's a good idea, but think of the poor little heart *sniff*

^^ lol chucky is right. but you would have to like launch the app first, and it would almost have to "bypass" the sleep function, but how the heck would you accomplish this?

not sure if this is possible or not

maybe ask Skylar, he knows about everything you need to know about the iphone
