    that would be so cool
maybe something that doesn't necessarily take a video, but screenshots a speed our fingers could never accomplish and would then convert them into an almost superspeeded slideshow, or perhaps just save them in order for you to convert on your desktop?
it sounds very possible to me, and quite frankly, not all that hard, but im clueless when it comes to programming =/

Yeah this idea has been out there for some time but hasn't been developed yet.

It would drain your battery pretty fast, though. Maybe just a speed-screenshot app.

yeah, it would drain your battery quite fast, now that you mention it
i guess it depends on how many screenshot you took, lol
i guess if someone could find out what the code is that triggers the screenshot, then you could make a program that just loops that code until maybe the home/sleep buttons are pressed a second time?
does anyone know how to go about finding out what that code could be?
if so, i'm sure making the rest of the app would be pretty easy

Well, how long are you planning to record stuff on your screen?

well, what if it let you specify the screenshooting duration, and could tell you how much it would drain your batter? this could possibly use the numerical batte rin teh BigBossPrefs app off of Cydia, couldn't it? I know it isn't 100% accurate (unfortunately) but would it be possible to estimate or find out how much battery life 1 screenshot drains, then depending on how many screenshots per second, or the frame rate (maybe there could be a quality option based on frame rate, such as 8, 16, or 32 fps)
regardless, i bet that taking a screenshot takes fairly little batter to occur, but i doubt you'd be making a feature-length film, so unless your batter level is below 10 or 20%, i don't think you'd have to worry

does anyone know anyone, or perhaps know themselves, how to get to the code that triggers the screenshot? i think this would make a huge difference if anyone were to attempt it
