Screen went white - Please Help Soon!!

    My ipod touch scree went white and i tried all methods in the forum, none worked, i tried switching off and switching on.. No use. My ipod is NOT jailbroken.. I tried of restoring it with iTunes.. Can you please say me how to resolve this as soon as possible and will Apple Bill(Charge) me for restoring my ipod.. Kindly reply soon

    1. Did you try DFU mode?
    2. Did you try Recovery Mode?

    Try the steps mentioned above. Apple will not charge you if you restore your iPod.

    These are the things i tried

    pressed the home button and power button together so that ipod switched off. When i switched on it was still white

    so, restored my ipod by clicking on restore button in iTunes, still it was white

    so, pressed the home button and power button together, ipod switched off, so by pressing home button i inserted the power cord. iTunes said ipod is in Recovery mode. I restored the ipod once again. the screen still remains white

    im thinking its a bad ipsw. send it to apple. they won't charge you if you did a simple restore.

    if you have it under warenty then they will do it for free

    did you try DFU mode? try that.

    when i click restore in iTunes, i get "Restore and update".. There is no separate option for Restore alone.. Its the only option i get, Will apple charge for it..
