Screen to be white when you get ready to restore through itunes?

    that's the question kinda.

    I am used to redsn0w tool 1.0

    did step 2.......

    and i get the plug + disk display on ipod..........

    when you restore, your screen is white?

    ya ur screen should b white
    then u restore using custom firmware and it should be a black screen (not bricked) and usb wont detect it
    then u put it into dfu mode and apply the exploit again using boot.bat (boot helper)

    hld on........... when i do the ARM_7 go and ARM_7 stop it kills that screen, and i get the plug display, then the program says to restore.....

    is that a mistake?

    My screen is white, Then I restore it using my Custom Firmware but this is where I get an error. My screen turns black but thats it, iTunes hangs on the Preparing iPod for Restore then I get error 1604

    2.For JAILBREAKING

    Pick option number 2 and when recovery shows, follow the steps below.

    --the screen is white here
    type arm7_go
    ----i get a plug here
    type arm7_stop
    ---- still got a plug


    am i a stupid idiot?

    ohhhh

    When you get in DFU mode during the JB you need to ristore?!?!?!

    u apply jailbreak, u get the white screen once then u restore USING custom firmware then u go into dfu mode (black screen) then u apply jailbreak again

    i used the redsn0w tool 1.0

    --i put ipod in DFU

    i go to step 2.

    - Unplug i pod
    --replug it in (when asked to do so)
    -- screen turns white
    ----then i do arm_7 go
    ----- then arm7_stop
    -------Screen isnt white anymore but i have a plug and CD (in recovery mode)
    ------------------double post merged------------------
    omfg

    DFU

    Apply JB (Screen goes white)

    Restore in itunes

    DFU

    then the patch?

    okay still confused............


    -- the readme says --

    2.For JAILBREAKING

    i get the white screen, i enter the arm_7 go
    then arm_7 stop

    and its not white anymore

    then when i restore in itunes i get 1604 error
