    Hello everyone.
I have an Ipod touch 2g 16gigs running under 3.1.2 firmware. I've been to the shops and they can't fix it , I can't send it to apple because my warranty is over and Im just wondering if anyone in this forum can help .

The screen turns on for a few seconds working normally , then it begins to fade and stays in the white screen , it still works . I can still hear noises etc. After i lock it , a few moments later i turn it back on and it fades again .

Look man the only thing that you can try to do that may help is restoring your ipod.

If nothing works and you don't want to jailbreak maybe upgrading to 3.1.3 would work. Although I wouldn't advise 3.1.3. If 3.1.3 won't work its probably just your iPod.

what do you think you would have done wrong with it to make the screen fade? Drop it? Charge it on another USB charge that ain't 2.0???
