Okay, it's not life threatening. But it's annoying because it's right in the middle of the screen and is sort of multicoloured while on pages with a light background.

Any way to remove/make it less noticeable? Preferably for free.

Ok less arguments about its scratchability and more posts on how to remove them.

First off you should get a screen protector(I have 2 on at once cause that's how cautious I am) and it should come with a cleaning thing. Wipe the hell out of the screen then apply the protector.

I tried something I saw on YouTube: you clean the screen wuth a damp cloth, then any screen cleaner, the rub a tiny bit of Vaseline onto both sides of iPod with your finger. Then rub damp cloth and screen cleaner on again after waiting about 2 minutes for Vaseline to do something, and scratches are way less noticeable. Dry off at the end. Also I'm pretty sure 2g screen scratch worse than 1g cos I've had both

    1. It will scratch with NATURAL materials (rock, sand etc..)
    2. Do what he said ^^ that should do it.
