screen is on,but is just black

    i just recently jailbroke 3.0 fw on my 2g touch

    i downloaded sb settings from cydia

    rebooted after that and now its stuck on a black screen.

    and every couple minutes the boot logo comes on with a spinning wheel, but it doesnt spin and just goes away

    what do i do?

    Try plugging it into your computer

    if itunes recognizes it restore it, then you could always re jailbreak it

    Yeah.

    Put it in DFU Mode:

    Plug it in.
    Hold Home & Power WHILE ITS ON until the screen goes black.
    When it goes black, wait a couple seconds, then release the POWER BUTTON!
    Continue holding the home button for 30 secs, or until your computer beeps.

    When your computer beeps, or after 30 seconds of holding the home button, let go of all buttons. Your iPod touch should be black.

    Open iTunes, press the Restore button.
    Let it restore.

    After restore, rejailbreak.

    The boot cycle of death...

    simply turn off, plug in, DFU

    3 seconds power
    15 seconds both
    30 seconds home

    (use a timer)

    then open itunes and restore.
