I bought a new ipod touch today, after I lost my old one 2 months ago. I charged it and saw that the screen was flickering a bit, not the backlight but the screen itself, and it had a yellowish tint to it, I compared it to my girlfriends that bought hers at the same time as me, and hers doesn't flicker and looks normal colored. We tried putting the brightness to full and hers still looked fine. The only time I can't notice the flickering on mine is when it's on 1/4 of the brightness or less.

Is there a fix for this or do I have to return it?

There is probably a manufacturing issue. If you got it today, bring it back with the receipt and they will probably give you another one.

Restore it to ensure that it is NOT a software issue, then take it back to where you bought it.

I've restored it and it's still the same, They're closed now but I've got a 3 year warranty on it, so I'll return it tomorrow.
