    hello,
i was given an ipod second generation as a gift at chirstmas and naturally i was overwhelmed as they are amazing.

However i have a dilemma i think my ipod was bought in the states yet i am in the uk, the screen has that moving thing and although it is only small its very annoying some-how.

So my question to you kind people is can i return it to my local apple store if i tell them my circumstance?

The clock also has a strange habit of resetting to random times

could this be solved with a format?

Thank You and all the best

    ollie`

The movable bottom left part is common, nothing to worry about (bought mine in UK and I have that pproblem, its just how they were made to make the nice new back)(if thats what your talking about) And a few mates had that clock problem, you could try restoring, not sure if it will fix it.

Thats common for 2gs because of the curved back.
To fix the problem try restoring.

If that doesn't work just update if you didn't already and hopefully that would fix it.
