So my nephew opened his new ipod touch 2g that i bought him and i compared the two and my used ipod touch seems to have a darker colored more yellowish color compared to his brand new ipod... is this normal? do ipod screens get more like mine once they are used? ( btw the brightness was exactly the same )

I think this is a known "fault".

    hah thanks atomic
and what do you mean by " fault " 1337?
i remember when i had my 1G long time ago in september and when i compared it to my friends iphone 3g it was too darker / more yellow kinda thing..
thats why i kinda think it might be because of the usage and after using it a while it becomes like this...

It's been known ever since 2G's were first released that Apple changed the blue tint to a yellow tint. Some people think it's better, some don't. I haven't seen the 2G screen in person, but I do say I rather the thought of a light blue tint.

Hmm I saw something on the net about iPhone 2.0 yellowish light comparison thing. Turns out that if you shine a flashlight onto the light sensors it should be back to normal.
Not sure about iPod though =(
