I was under the impression when I first got my touch, that the display was scratch proof, so I never bothered covering the screen. I recently found a few scratches, and ordered some Apple Sauce polish. It didn't work worth crap, and just made more noticable scratches. I later saw on the SUPPORT tab, which no one would think of clicking on PRIOR to purchasing, that it is only compatible with the back of the touch. Does anyone know any sure way of removing scratches? I don't think Displex or anything of that sort will work, since they aren't meant to work on the material used on the touches.

srry lilmikey, but I would not use glass cleaner on it...
I've read several people saying they did that and it takes of the scratch resistant material on the screen.

Great link and important tip (lol) yeah glass cleaner is NOT GOOD FOR YOUR TOUCH! I went to staples and bought a bottle of LCD screen cleaner and it almost makes a fingerprint resistant coating on the screen unless its got heavy use on it

It states on that page that it is only compatible with the metal back of the touch. Has anyone had any first hand experience and success with a product?

    oh and to cereal_killer, both.

i forgot wat this stuff was, but i think it was lense cleaner, my freinds watch got scratched, i drop a bit of this stuff, wiped it off, and it was litterally brand new, its like a clear polymer that fits inside scratches and fills it up, i lost it though
