has anyone else got any small scratches on their screen? I do i dunno how the got there, my fingertips are hardly made of diamonds. I thought the screen was meant to be scratch proof?

They arent exactly scratches they are just lines which sort of deflect my sight a ti y bit, like thin lines of moisture, its hard to explain, is there any way of getting rid of them?

Wipe your screen off with your shirt. They are called smudge marks.

Is it on the actual screen or the cover over the screen that the touch came with? You can try a microfiber cloth i guess.

You could always just use the black cloth that CAME with your iPod...

no not smudge marks, really thin like scratches i think they got there fron having small bits of dirt on my screen and then wiping it with my t shirt which scratched it.

Actually they are quite like smudge marks but as thin as scratches.

If it is truly scratched you can buy a few products to polish the scratches out. I have used Displex on several older ipods with great results.

its not really a scratch scratch, just a sort of really not deep(shallow) scratch, like if I run my finger over it I can't feel a thing its just annoying to have there.

Hmm that sucks, I leave mine in my pocket usually unprotected and only the back has gotten scratched, sometimes I think my screen has gotten scratched because some marks don't come off with normal wiping but then I use a little bit of water and rub really hard and they go away.
