Jeeeeeeez. He's a fool. Although, it is good that we will get someone else to develop iOS and all that.

One that refuses to acknowledge his mistakes is not worthy of such a position.
Let's hope iOS becomes better than it is.

haha this made me laugh. Im sure he has more money than he knows what to do with though.
This kinda reminds me of something Vince McMahon would do to show hes the man and you're an expendable peasant

Think of it this way: that letter would not exist if Jobs was still here.

Jobs wrote many letters similar to it.

The biggest difference between Forstall and Jobs is that Jobs could admit his position was wrong, and then adapt. Apparently, Forstall couldn't.

    Indeed.
Steve's stance on the iPhone 4 antenna issue: You're holding it incorrectly.
Tim Cook does not think like Apple. Apple never shows it weakness. He should not have been the CEO...

Jobs' stance on the antenna issue on the iPhone 4 was You're holding it incorrectly
I believe that this is opposite to what you're saying.. Jobs would never admit his position was wrong, because hes Jobs..

Issue? The issue was completely blown out of proportion. Three months after the initial sensationalistic headlines broke, nobody cared.

Jobs was right. He believed it was the media being, well, the media.

Steve Jobs could never admit to failure, I use to think he was so cool and could do no wrong, but I've seen numerous documentaries after his death, and it has become clear to me, that Steve Jobs was quite a rude kind of guy, he'd fire ppl just cuz he could, he was mean to waiters and waitresses. Now, I'm not dissing Steve, I loved Steve, I still love Apple, but I think Steve thought he was better than everyone else, even better than ppl in his own company. That said, I'm glad Tim Cook wrote an apology letter, it's about time Apple starts owning up to some of the mistakes that it's done.
