My school's internet was always accessible by just typing in your school's computer name and password that I log into the computer with, but then the school decided that too many people were using the internet on their ipods/iphones and started using something (don't know what) to lock out the ipods.

I used to always go into my library (the computers are always taken) and use my ipod's Safari browser to look up vocab words, help with French homework, etc, and then when I wasn't busy I would check my Facebook app or go on my AIM app.

Now I can't connect to the internet on Safari, Facebook, AIM, Myspace, nothing. Before just the App store and Youtube and illegal sites were blocked but now my whole ipod is blocked from using the internet. The school's network still sometimes shows up on my wifi settings list but I can't connect even when I click on it.

Is there any way around this?

Try just using a proxy site, or something.

He cannot use one if he cannot even get onto the network.
