Hello. I can log into our School's Network and use the internet (since there is no security on it). Our IT Administrator is pretty strict (because he has to be) and has to block most ports, HTTPS connections and other stuff.. When I get connected on the school network, it allows me to use Safari and browse the internet.. I mostly use the Email application thats on the iPod touch and for some reason.. Its blocked.. What can I tell my IT Admin to unblock (port, ip address, etc) that will allow me to use the email application while at school??

    Thanks!

i got this from a post eles where :The most common port used for email is port 25. However, sysadmins are moving to port 587 to cut down on spam.
