Not messing around with a 300 dollar piece of hardware...
What is the best jailbreak for my touch.(Just bought from apple store)
    Its 1.1.4
I want a jailbreak that doesn't mess anything up(like Ziphone???)

And I want to be able to reverse it if I don't like it. I cannot afford for it to brick so any flashing ones are out of the question?
Can someone please post a detailed walk through for jailbreaking it? Someone said Liberty+ is the best jailbreaker? what are your thoughts on it? Does everything work? Can the iphone apps be installed?
Also what are some must needed applications for the itouch?

    Many many loving thanks

Ok first of all use Ziphone or you can use iLiberty if you'd like. And put it in DFU mode, so you can downgrade to 1.1.1 Once you get aquainted with the "jailbreaking" process you can upgrade to higher firmwares.

Download 1.1.1 Firmware, you can find it here or on google.

I'll look for some sites and post them right now.

You won't brick it even if you mess up.

So don't worry about that iPod's are hard to brick.

well, seeing as how these people beat me to the first post, I'll just say:

The first rule for jailbreaking your' Touch, is to calm down.

There is close to no chance of you permanently hurting your touch.

The best rule is to be creative and customize your unique iPod

That guide sucks and makes you do a lot of things you don't need to do. Especially for a beginner that just wants and ipod that works perfectly.
