Well, I ran a successful jailbreak on my iPod Touch 2G, I am trying to get winterboard without having to reboot the touch, and so I try installing SBSettings, the problem is, i slide my finger up top, and nothing pops up, any help would be greatly appreciated...

Try tapping it with two fingers instead (the top that is).

If that doesn't work, uninstall it, then re-install it.

try putting your finger on the status bar ( wifi ipod battery Ect.) and pull down, always works for me ( BTW you also could try installing respring from cydia and then installing winterboard, but after its done just exit cydia without clicking the reboot button, and click respring and u shouldnt need to reboot.

I had the same problem I just ended up rebooting, doing the jailbreak over, and then installing both again and they both worked (winterboard, sbsettings)

Just reinstall, respring, or reboot. (hehe, the three "R"s)

    You can leave SBSettings installed.

To do the reboot, you can either do step 10 to the end (rhyme!), or install on of the many tools where all you have to do is put your iPod into DFU mode.
