I want to get sbsettings, but right now I am trying really hard not to get to much jailbroken apps with the fear of draining battery life and hogging memory.

I checked system activity monitor and my cpu was around 80 nonstop for a while. I have no idea why. I just checked now and its around 10. I just jbed my ipod yesterday night, and all I have are cydia, rock, cydelete, ifile, sborganizer, 2 emulators, safari downloader, 2 apps I don't know if Im allowed to talk about, sysinfoplus, dtunes, iclassic, and iphone vm 2. Do any of those apps use daemons or mobile substrates that would slow down or drain my ipod and will sbsettings do the same?

Im just a little overcautious right now, haha.

If you plan on being on your iPod for awhile downloading programs, I would recommend that you plug it into your computer so your battery doesn't die.

SBSettings doesn't take up much considering the productivity you recieve. Winterboard is what takes up a ton. I had around 50 MB max. when using winterboard. Now I disabled it and I get around 64 MB.

Yeah they do take amount of ram on the iDevice. Delete the Jailbroken app that you rarely use. The only one I use is scrobble, winterboard, and SBSetting. GPSphone sometimes when I am in a good mood.

So I assume I wont lose much battery life or ram with sbsettings, so I just got it. Hopefully, I won't notice a difference.

SBSettings lets you end unnecessary processes which actually gives you MORE RAM.
