Just wondering if this has happened to any of you guys...

But i just restored my ipod touch from jb 1.4 to 2.0 and when playing with weather bug today, it crashed. when it restarted itself, my summerboard theme flashed but then locked and its gone...

should those files even be there, i thought restoring basically formatted the ipod?

They would be stored in the memory (RAM), so it's possible.

They would be stored in the Random Access Memory? Quite impossible due to the fact the RAM is cleared everytime you turn off and restore the device. RAM is not a hard drive.

i don't have any screenshots because it happened in the split second when a crashed ipod restarts and you can see the icons and then quickly goes to the lock screen.

I don't think it would be in RAM, but maybe the restore doesn't actually reformat ipods?
