    Hi,

I'm an Ipod touch newbie and I had a question regarding apps. Is there anyway I can save them to an external drive? My laptop has been acting all cranky of late, and I don't want to lose my apps if it crashes.

I know that apps are stored on your Apple account, but I'm currently based abroad on an exchange program, so I don't know whether I can re-download them while I am outside the US.

    Thanks!

The file is stored here (Windows)
    My Music\iTunes\Mobile Applications

My Music being where ever your music fodler is configured in iTunes.

You can back up the applications in this folder. If you delete the aplication, you can reinstall it by double clicking the backed up file. This will recreate the file in the same location.

This file will still only work on authenticated machines...
