    Is there a way to save all tethered jailbroken stuff you had on your ipod? before restore?

    Yes, with SSH. Isn't SSH basically the answer to nearly EVERY Jailbreak problem ever since 1.X?

    As Tes said, use SSH. A simple (but also very crude) way would be to navigate to "/" and copy everything to your computer.

    Just Flash the NOR. that doesn't wipe your stuff.

    use redtool and flash the NOR, it doesnt erase ur stuff, just like mitch sed

    i would personally rejailbreak with untethered firmware it makes the touch more stable and resprings much faster
