I am running 9.04 Jaunty in a VM currently, and I would like the save the state it is in right now. (The appearance, software, etc.) I do not want to do AptOnCD because I want to use WUBI (installing it on my dad's comp, can't partition) to install Ubuntu and restore it to my VM's state. Is there any such program that can package the current state into an .ISO so WUBI can recognize it and install it?

You're asking way too much, and no.

It's basically the same exact concept as AptOnCD except saving the entire state just like AOC does but compressing it into an .ISO image. I'm not asking for much. I just wanted to know if it could be done, so thanks for answering.

Just create a backup of everything you want to keep and restore it later.
